I would like to begin by thanking the Senator who is chair of the Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee for her leadership and her work to put together, with Senator LeMieux, this $30 billion small business lending fund. I know the Senator made some reference to this, but I just wanted to point out and ask her because there has been a lot of criticism about this fund as being so-called, the son of TARP. I voted against TARP because I did not think we ought to be doing that. I think this is not another Wall Street bailout, that this is an effort to help small businesses. I would just like to ask Senator Landrieu whether she agrees with me that this is not a bailout; that, in fact, this is an effort to help Main Street not Wall Street; and that we need to do this so we can make sure our small businesses get the credit and the capital they need to operate?
