I understand that not all of my Democratic colleagues are satisfied with this agreement, but waiting another week or another month wouldn’t deliver a better outcome.
Families are already struggling with high costs, and allowing these tax credits to expire would make things much worse for working Americans.
It’s good progress, but it’s not what we need in order to open things back up again.
I think it’s important, and it’s a message to not only our Republican colleagues, but to the White House.
