I will be brief because my friend from Massachusetts was eloquent in talking about the livelihood of people in our fishing industry who have been affected by the disaster, and as a result there have been low species and low catch numbers because of regulations in an effort to bring back those fish. I hope if we can support these disaster funds that as the Department of Commerce is allocating this funding, that they will do it with a collaborative process that invites fishermen and fishing businesses to have a say in that process. Given that their livelihoods have been affected, I think it is important for them to be part of the process of how this funding is given out.
