The gentleman's point that the ATP funding is going to the private sector and companies that already exist emphasizes exactly the point that those of us that oppose the program are trying to make, and that, is the beneficiaries or private companies in most cases are already earning a profit, already undertaking this research, and we ought not to be subsidizing those private sector profitable initiatives.
