When we passed the American Rescue Plan, my legislation was included to extend Medicaid postpartum coverage from 60 days to 1 full year.

We clearly need to do more to make sure that we are taking care of families and meeting their critical healthcare needs.

This bipartisan bill would provide mandatory funding to purchase development rights via conservation easements from private and Tribal landowners.

I urge this committee to prioritize the safety and well-being of our communities, including the investments that we have put in improving public transit.
