Mr. Chairman, I will just close by thanking Mrs. Brooks of Indiana for her leadership, Mr. Kennedy for his leadership in offering this legislation, and thank Mr. Guinta for this amendment. I urge our colleagues to support this bipartisan amendment that will allow us to understand the underlying increase in the use of opioid medication and prescription drugs that are leading people into substance use disorder and, ultimately, sadly, into the use of heroin and fentanyl that is killing so many people in our homes and communities. I yield back the balance of my time. The Acting CHAIR (Mr. Byrne). The question is on the amendment offered by the gentlewoman from New Hampshire (Ms. Kuster). The amendment was agreed to. Amendment No. 9 Offered by Mr. Schiff The Acting CHAIR. It is now in order to consider amendment No. 9 printed in part A of House Report 114-551.
