I urge this committee to prioritize the safety and well-being of our communities, including the investments that we have put in improving public transit.

I am very concerned that recent analysis shows that the work requirement in a Medicaid program would jeopardize access to care for 21 million people.

The ACP is already serving as a lifeline to the more than 18 million households that currently rely on this program to remain connected.

I am deeply concerned that work requirements--I know someone mentioned it before--in Medicaid will undo our progress.
