Next time there’s a balloon floating across the country and nobody can identify its source, and it’s over Nebraska space, we’re going to make sure it doesn’t get out of the state. We’ll bring it down.

The taxpayers are clear on their expectation to reduce government spending, and as the largest operating program in the General Fund budget, the university should be part of the solution.

But we got great people around keeping us safe, so we’re doing everything we can, but, yeah, it’s sobering.

That’s how our economy will grow.
