Unless the community of responsible nations takes decisive actions, the world will soon awake to the headline, Iran has a nuclear bomb. A nuclear-armed Iran will pose a very real threat to civilization itself, increasing the dangers of a destabilizing nuclear arms race in the world's most volatile region. Today's Iran sanctions legislation represents an intermediate yet important step in that sustained effort. We need to do even more.”
