I thank the gentleman for the time. Madam Speaker, health care reform, the right type of reform, is important to me and important to every American. The right type of reform will actually reduce costs and improve health care outcomes while we protect vulnerable persons. However, the current health care law, as we all know, is a complicated mess that is going to shift costs to more unsustainable government spending and actually reduce health care liberties. America deserves better. Following yesterday's vote in support of the repeal of this law, I believe it is important to craft a new commonsense policy that provides new insurance models for families, farmers, and small business owners. Yet, as to any model that we craft, the replacement must continue to build upon a culture of health and wellness, allow newly insured persons to keep their current coverage and also retain protections for preexisting conditions. This will be important. So now the hard work begins; but this time we have the opportunity to get it right. Mr. McGOVERN. Madam Speaker, I yield 2 minutes to the gentlewoman from Wisconsin (Ms. Moore).
