Americans, again, are worried about drug prices, and while I realize you only play a partial role in debating the policy as to how to bring down these prices and increasing values to patients, I hope that we will see a robust plan to accelerate generic approvals and to minimize the perverse effects of circumventing drug and device patents, as well as to encourage more safe manufacture of the generics themselves.
