this amendment would modify section 1007 to require DOD to provide Congress with a prioritized list of modernization and investment priorities, at least for large amounts, amounts that will be funded by Congress this year. This will ensure that the Congress gets DOD's best advice on priorities for reasonably sized funding packages. Mr. President, I believe this amendment has been agreed to by those on the other side of the aisle.
