Deb Fischer: “I hope that Congress is going to quickly provide Appropriations so we can see the construction of the facility as well.”

I was "extremely disappointed" with the plan.

We cannot [lower grocery prices] at the expense of American producers. Flooding the market with foreign beef hurts our livestock industry and undermines the long-term solution: growing the U.S. cattle herd to meet demand.

This is the plane that will command and control our nuclear weapons on America's worst day. We cannot play these political games with the NC three.

I thank Secretary Brooke Rollins and Undersecretary Scott Hutchins for recognizing the importance of funding this facility.
