I also wish to commend my friend, the senior Senator from Mississippi, for reintroducing his defense initiative. Missile defense is as critical a challenge as this country faces, not just for the short term, but for the long term, and I have been a strong proponent of what Senator Cochran is proposing. I wish, again, to be a cosponsor of that measure.
