ISIL is a very clear threat to the United States of America, to our people.

We got to destroy it, because if we don't destroy it, it will get worst and it will get wider and deeper.

If Congress would not agree to that request, it would be a pretty devastating message that we send to the world.

The President has determined that closing it is a national security imperative.
