“I would just add that the U.S. Coast Guard, although not contained in this bill, has already engaged in an agenda to remove meat from some of the menus on certain days of the week within that branch. I want to ensure that our men and women in uniform who serve in harm's way will have the options that they choose. And I would imagine that, given the health impact of a healthy source of protein being meat, we should afford our men and women in uniform that option.
