Yes. If we look ahead, look over just the next few years, what we see, under the President's own calculations, the deficit as a share of our Nation's income is even going to get larger. These are record deficits. As we can see, even as a share of the national income, this deficit is the second highest it has been since World War II, only exceeded by 1983. Interestingly enough, I would say to my colleague, in 1983 the Social Security surplus was only several hundred million dollars.
