“I thank Senator Murray for the extraordinary contributions she has made to this budget resolution. There is no more valuable member of the Senate Budget Committee than Senator Murray. She was a conferee. She has participated throughout the committee's deliberations on this budget. Again, there is no one who played a more constructive role than Senator Murray. She has been a fierce advocate for education, for expansion of children's health care coverage, and for the transportation needs of the United States. So I thank Senator Murray for her very thoughtful participation in the deliberations of the Budget Committee.”
