I did explain the important role of Senator Stevens from Alaska and our gratitude toward him. However, I would be remiss if I did not tell the Senate the admiration we have for the Senator from South Dakota in his leadership on this issue. He has been faithful and determined on this issue and all of us know that his family has had some medical challenges in recent hours. We very much appreciate what you have done for the country and for our region of the State. Much of the reason we are here at this moment on the edge of victory in having disaster relief approved is because of the efforts of the Senator from South Dakota.
