I don't share the opinion that it is dangerous. I think it is important for the interests of this country that we ratify this treaty. Whatever the agreement, I also think it would be useful to have a hearing in the coming days and have the Joint Chiefs of Staff and others come forward and tell us their views.

I just want to say that I am concerned about the court's decision in Carcieri and the impact it may have on those tribes that were recognized after 1934.
I know that everyone sitting at this table has a passionate desire to fix these problems.
The efficiencies that would be driven from a non-profit corporation...would provide funding as well for excellent and stable and professional management.
