I do want to say what he said to me after he left Health and Human Services. I met him in the elevator outside the Senate Chamber one day after he left being Secretary. He said: By the way, Byron, you keep working on the imported drug issue. You are right about that. This improves the bill. It doesn't detract from safety issues at all. It does address something not addressed in this bill, and that is a serious pricing problem with prescription drugs in our country.
