However, I do not think the Senator would use either study to demonstrate a conclusion that the central thesis of what I am talking about, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act and a whole range of other health, safety and environmental standards, are somehow not grounded in science or not grounded in fact. I think the Senator would not be correct if he says the bulk of what we do to make sure our water is safe, to make sure our air is clean, to make sure drugs are tested and safe, the bulk of what we do is inappropriate.
