“They talk about pension reform a lot around here but they fail to mention that a good many Americans have no pension. The Senator from New Mexico used statistics--for example, 61 percent in my home State, and I think 70-some in New Mexico, have no pension. We should do pension reform, but we also ought to think through how do we encourage additional retirement savings and pensions to be offered to workers.”
