Retirement programs and health care programs, Medicare and Medicaid. Each year more people become eligible for Medicare because they have reached the age of 65. Each year, Medicare becomes more expensive and so does Medicaid. So each year these programs grow in cost without anyone having done anything to increase their costs.

I just want to say that I am concerned about the court's decision in Carcieri and the impact it may have on those tribes that were recognized after 1934.
It is a travesty! Further, it is a problem that will continue to have negative impacts for generations to come.
The fundamental problem found in the Dorgan report in 2010 and the findings now before the House is IHS, LEADERSHIP was failing then as it is failing now.
