Probably the ugliest findings are on page 62 of the report when the Corps admits that, on the crucial day, the morning of Sunday, May 2, when an elderly couple in Nashville had already drowned trying to get to church, only then did the Nashville Corps take the flood seriously enough to establish emergency operations.
