I spoke on the floor of the Senate a number of times about general aviation and its importance to this country.
The question is not the endpoint. The question is what is the route to get to that endpoint.
Senator Dorgan once said it takes four agencies and 49 steps. I think with the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation, we say it is seven agencies and 100 steps.
It is a travesty! Further, it is a problem that will continue to have negative impacts for generations to come.
