This bill acknowledges that Federal technology policy has not kept up with the pace of technology integration by our Federal agencies. This bill codifies the position of Federal CIO, emphasizing the importance of the role to the formation of governmentwide technology policy; and this bill promotes organized, cost-efficient, and secure technology used throughout the Federal Government.
