Valerie Jean Foushee is a member of the United States House of Representatives, representing North Carolina's 4th congressional district. A member of the Democratic Party, she has been serving in Congress since January 2022. Foushee has a background in public service and has been involved in various community initiatives throughout her career. Prior to her election to the House, she served in the North Carolina State Senate, where she focused on issues such as education, healthcare, and social justice.
The goal of our oversight should always be to improve the research programs that we look at, not to tear them down.
Our constituents are counting on these investments, and we need to deliver for them.
