I oppose this amendment and would urge its defeat.

This amendment strikes Section 4122. This provision creates a new standard of judicial review, creates new standards of judicial review that weakens the rights of respondents in Commission matters.

Should we not have some consistency in our Federal voting laws that even if it is a gray area...

This amendment would add a new subtitle to the bill, prohibiting the practice of ballot harvesting.

It is very frustrating, to Ms. Maloney's point, of something that was created, and not too many years ago, by the House, by Congress itself, and to see this kind of rampant behavior.
