In my view, we are all here for just one reason, and that's the American people are tired of being lied to.

This Administration is pushing PAJs to eliminate their public housing altogether and replace it with vouchers or other forms of assistance.

Only with a substantial increase in Federal support and a national commitment to expanding community-based treatment will we have even the basic tools to combat this epidemic.

I do not believe that we are no longer living in a society of poverty, that we are no longer free from economic decay.
