This greed-driven policy by a Europe which was twice liberated in the 20th century by the United States, a policy which, by the way, this past year, in 2004, resulted in over a half a billion dollars of military sales already to China, with again the French leading the way. The degree of cynicism, the degree of greed displayed by some European leaders turns one's stomach. I strongly urge all of my colleagues to vote for our resolution.
