When the president of the USA has an equivalence with anti-racist campaigns in Charlottesville, with the Ku Klux Klan, those things are heard and felt by people across the globe.

What it shows, actually is that hope can overcome fear. Unity is much more important than succeeds over division.

But — in two of the most diverse cities on Earth — it's a bit beside the point.

The consequences 10 years on are worse than we feared.
