H.R. 5780 stands to reduce the Navajo Nation revenues. The bill would decrease the Navajo Nation's royalty revenues from its oil and gas leases located in the Aneth extension on the Navajo reservation from 62.5 percent to 37.5 percent.

This bill will provide water to 40 percent that do not have water in the State of Utah, members of my Nation.

Our people are hurting. And when you see EPA pulling out, and you have water tanks that are being pulled off, you have hay that is not being provided because of the spill that was caused by their workers, it is really devastating.

This bill's 'tribal-management' is tribal in name only.
