I think Democrats and Republicans will get an agreement on this. It`s not in anybody`s interest to fight out the government shutdown at this point.

I think it`s things like that working on gas prices, trying to keep them low, cost of living kitchen table issues, doing not just telling, I think is what is going to get this White House back on track seven months before an election.

I think addressing this issue and taking it head on, discussing it, making sure people understand where you are, you know, in 2020, a lot of congressional candidates on the Democratic side got tagged with defund the police and Joe Biden…

I think Democrats have to show the country were capable and willing and able to govern.
