What the American people want the president to do is exactly what the president was doing today: talking with CEOs in the country about what can we do to create more jobs?

The president, again, since I've been with him in 2004, has supported the assault weapons ban and we continue to do so.

We have to understand what got us into this mess, and we have to make sure that we don't hire somebody to repeat those same mistakes that got us into that.
