We, as black people, it's time. It's time for us to come together. It's time for us to rebuild a New Orleans, the one that should be a chocolate New Orleans. And I don't care what people are saying uptown or wherever they are. This city will be chocolate at the end of the day.

We will put all of our resources to focus on murders and violent crimes.
I want America to understand, the city of New Orleans took on so much water, that 80 percent of it's flooded. And we still have a tremendous amount of work to do. And we need tremendous amount of more help from the federal government.
And I'm expressing my dissatisfaction, my outrage, and my demand that this foolishness stops.
I want to thank all the wonderful people of the city of New Orleans for this encouragement, for this victory, for this time for us to set the stage for our recovery.
