This department pays tribute to Lindsey Graham in the naming of this base, but there could be no greater tribute than for Congress to give and invest in our warriors for the full $1.5 trillion.

The reality: By going more than 90 days without congressional authorization, IS BREAKING THE LAW and must be held accountable.

We are committed in working with Congress to get $1.5 trillion. But this is not the same way we’ve funded our department in the past.

Some deployments are longer than others, and I have more respect and gratitude for those sailors than anybody.
