It is obvious we have a very serious American problem, and that is Medicare, and a very serious solution recommended by trustees, four of whom were the President's, two of whom are private citizens. I think our Republican leader has outlined an approach which might resolve this issue.

I think that the last point that Dr. Rivlin made you can find in the report: that our plan is more progressive than the tax code we are replacing.
It is clear from this example that good things can happen when we open up more areas for drilling in a responsible manner.
