when mental health gets 0.04 percent of the CARES Act funding, it says a lot about where mental health is in this country.

And until there is that same urgency towards enforcing, and until there is that same money backing up our words that these are really equal illnesses, we are really still in denial as a Nation.

Because I think any firefighter will tell you, these days especially, they spend more of their time trying to do first response to overdoses and mental health crisis than they do putting out fires.

We have so underfunded this system for so long, why is it a big surprise that we don't have enough providers in the field?
