The Insurrection Act... grants the President the authority to deploy the U.S. military domestically and use it against Americans under certain conditions.

What he has done is reprehensible, unlawful, an insult to the Constitution, and an insult to the idea of America.

This is part and parcel of Donald Trump's M.O., abusing the public trust for his own personal gain.

It should be an absolute imperative to modernize, and update, and limit utilization of this dangerous statutory tool.
