When people see a strong horse and a weak horse, they prefer the strong horse. A weak America invites aggression, a weak America invites instability.

If foreign adversaries see the United States humiliated in such a manner, they will calculate that the United States can be pushed back at low cost to them.

The United States needs to actively deter Iran, demonstrate strength to the Iranian regime...

I think the threat is significant. We've heard about several on-going assassination plots.
