President Trump has stated that the United States looks forward to a day when people of all faiths... can follow their hearts and worship according to their conscience.

We expect our partners in Central America to show political will to break with the past to curb unsafe and illegal immigration and corruption.

They should do that and abide by the result. If they do not, we are making clear that there are going to be some serious consequences in their relationships throughout the region.
