This is who we are now. We thought that this would be over after Newtown and what happened at Sandy Hook and that, finally, Republicans in Washington, D.C., would take the steps necessary to start making this less and less likely.

I believe, unfortunately, that the more we see massacres like this... that is getting us closer to change.

Good for him. Leadership begins by creating the willingness, the spirit to make change.
