The report language on wind energy research, development and deployment restricts support for small wind, when in fact the Department of Energy has several ongoing research activities in this area. Is it the intention of the Senate that these and other cost-shared programs currently conducted in collaboration with DOE, the national laboratories, and U.S. industry should not be continued?
