The power of pardon in the state is to give people a second chance who have repented, been rehabilitated and redeem themselves.

The party is about the people. Not people running around with hats every four years at conventions.

The government is not a very good communicator. The government doesn't do a good job of getting things across.

I am comfortable every one of these who were mansion inmates are rehabilitated and have redeemed themselves, and they deserve a second chance. And that's what we as Christians believe.
