Gary Locke: “We in this committee believe that everybody counts in this country and everybody should be counted.”

We will say to the world, as clearly as possible, that America is open for business, once again.

We have to do something. The current course is unacceptable.

The Census only happens once every 10 years and we need to get it right--no exceptions, no excuses.

I clearly think that the country, and all sectors within the country, will need to focus on adaptation.
