Alberta Premier Danielle Smith is also voting to stay in Canada, and says recent joint deals with Ottawa — such as fast-tracking a new oil pipeline — show that a united country can get things done.

This fire is significant and tragic.

We don’t always agree on everything. We often disagree quite publicly on several things. But today we can all agree that, on Question 10, we are voting for Option 1: to remain in Canada.
