I don’t think Albertans appreciate having a federal government leaning over their shoulder watching podcasts to see if they said something that’s going to hurt someone’s feelings.

I will accept the result of this referendum.

I am going to do whatever I can to convince as many Albertans as possible that Canada can work and hopefully win them over to that view.

When a proud, hardworking people feel their contribution is taken for granted and their livelihood is treated as something to be phased out, some begin to ask a painful question: 'Does this country actually want us?
