I will look at this amendment with great interest. I appreciate the sincerity with which my friend from Vermont offers it. My first reaction to the increase in the statute of limitations is that is fairly reasonable. My only immediate reaction is it gives the impression that there is widespread corruption that is not being examined in the Congress.
