U.S. forces will be capable of deterring and defeating aggression by any potential adversary.

We cannot just be catching up or trying to stay at par with the rest of the world or otherwise our defenses are down.

We spend an awful lot of time talking about what programs we would like to have. Probably not nearly enough time on accountability.

Our nuclear forces remain the foundation of deterrence. Our arsenal needs significant and immediate investment.
